What to Expect
Before Your Event
Confirm your dates with Madison at Admin@joepolish.com, submit your $500 deposit to secure your booking, and send in your signed rental agreement. Request any supplies at least 2 weeks in advance.
Day of Your Event
Arrive with enough time to set up before your attendees arrive. Your team is responsible for setup, greeting attendees, and managing everything throughout the day.
Before You Leave
Clean the entire space including the kitchen, restrooms, lobby, and outdoor areas. Remove all trash, restore any GN signage to its original position, and leave the space exactly as you found it.

Parking
Free parking is available on site. No reservation or permit is required.
Check-In
Our business hours are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The Event Center is available for your use from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM. A member of the GN team will be available to let you in during business hours. Please ensure your team arrives with enough time to get settled before your attendees arrive.

Room Layout
You are welcome to arrange the space in whatever layout best suits your event. Circular tables and chairs are available on site at no additional charge. All setup and breakdown of furniture and materials is the responsibility of your team.

Availability & Hours
The Event Center is available Monday - Sunday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, excluding Genius Network meeting dates and the two days before and after each GN meeting. Contact Madison at Admin@joepolish.com to confirm availability before booking.
Security Deposit
A $500 deposit is required at the time of booking and will be applied toward your total rental cost. The deposit will only be withheld in the event of damage, excessive cleaning requirements, or outstanding fees.
Overtime Policy
All events must conclude and vacate the premises by 7:00 PM. Any time beyond 7:00 PM will be billed at $150 per hour (or any portion thereof), as GN staff are required to remain on site until all guests have departed.

Audio & Visual
Basic Multimedia (Included in Rental)
- Use of projector, screens, and audio is included in your rental fee.
- An operator from your team must complete basic training with GN staff the day before your event (or no later than 1 hour prior).
- You must bring and use your own laptop if you are not using the GN A/V team to record.
If You Choose GN A/V Recording
- Laptop: You will use our Mac laptop — bring a flash drive with all your files loaded.
- Drive: Bring a drive with at least 5TB of space. Allow 2 hours after your event for file transfer. We can also ship the drive to you.
- Livestream: Provide your Facebook or YouTube login and preferred platform. You will receive the access link by email on the morning of your event.
Housekeeping & Supplies
Supplies & Amenities
Genius Network can provide a range of supplies and amenities for your event. Everything beyond standard restroom necessities is available at the rates below. All supply requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to your event date.
- Bottled water, sodas, juices, and other beverages — $1 each
- Coffee service (includes cups, lids, sugar, creamer and stir sticks) — $35 per 50 cups
- Black and white printing — $15 per 50 pages
- Color printing — $30 per 50 pages
- Any other consumable supplies requested — $1 per item
Kitchen Access
- The kitchen area is available for your use and includes a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker.
- Beverage refrigerators will be cleared out before your event for your use.
- Trash must be removed daily from the Event Center, kitchen, and both restrooms.
- You are responsible for any damage to the Event Center or equipment and will be charged for all repairs or replacements.
Catering & Dining Supplies
- Genius Network does not provide catering, food, plates, silverware, or utensils. These are entirely your responsibility to arrange.
- You are welcome to bring in an outside caterer to set up and serve at your event.
- Catering does not include coffee. Coffee service can be arranged separately through our supplies menu above.
- If you use disposable plates and utensils, please ensure all waste is properly bagged and removed before you leave.
We use Eat by Stacie for our own events and are happy to connect you with them. They specialize in healthy, wholesome meals and accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions. Contact Madison at Admin@joepolish.com for their contact information.
In-House Porters — Highly Recommended
Hiring an in-house porter is one of the best ways to ensure your event runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Make and replenish coffee throughout the day
- Clean up after attendees continuously throughout the event
- Collect, wash, and put away dishes after every meal
- Ensure snacks and beverages are replenished and always available
- Keep the space clean, organized, and presentable all day

Setup & Staff
Your Responsibilities
- Your team is responsible for all setup including arranging tables, chairs, and any materials you need.
- A member of your team must be present throughout the entire event to greet attendees and manage the room.
- All breakdown and cleanup must be completed by your team before leaving.
- For basic A/V, your team member must complete a short training with GN staff before the event. You will need your own laptop and cord to connect to our system.
- Please bring everything your team and attendees need. GN staff are not available to assist with event operations.
Signage & Branding
- You are welcome to display your own banners, signage, and branded materials throughout the space.
- All signage must be removed at the end of your event and the space restored to exactly how it was found.
- No holes may be made in walls under any circumstances. Any damage will be charged to the card on file.
- All existing Genius Network signage must be returned to its original position before you leave.
Shipping & Deliveries
You are welcome to ship materials to the Event Center ahead of your event. Please follow the instructions below carefully.

- You must notify Madison at Admin@joepolish.com before any shipment is sent.
- A $10 per package receiving fee applies to all incoming shipments.
- Packages will be held at no charge for the first 5 days. After 5 days, a $5 per package per day storage fee will apply.
- Packages that arrive without prior notice or proper labeling may be refused or delayed.
Helpful Tips
Skip the Dishes — Go Bamboo
Instead of using traditional dishes that require washing, consider purchasing bamboo plates and compostable utensils. They look clean and professional, hold up well for catered meals, and completely eliminate dish washing. Bulk sets are easily found on Amazon ahead of your event.
Hire a Porter
This is the single best thing you can do to make your event run smoothly. A porter handles coffee, replenishes snacks and drinks, cleans up throughout the day, and takes care of all the small things so your team can stay focused on your attendees. At $250 per day it is well worth the investment. Contact Madison at Admin@joepolish.com to arrange.
Do Your A/V Walkthrough the Day Before
Do not wait until the morning of your event to get familiar with the A/V setup. Come in the day before, complete your training with GN staff, and test your slides, audio, and any video content. This eliminates the most common source of delays on event day.
Ship Materials Early — But Not Too Early
If you are shipping materials, aim to have them arrive 1-3 days before your event. This gives you a buffer in case of delays while keeping storage fees to a minimum. Remember to notify Madison before anything ships and label all packages with your name and "Future Event Renter."
Pre-Order Your Catering
Do not leave food to the last minute. Confirm headcount, dietary restrictions, and timing well in advance. If you would like a recommendation, we use Eat by Stacie for our own events. Reach out to Madison for their contact info.
Arrive Early on Day One
Give your team at least 60-90 minutes before attendees arrive to set up the room, arrange tables and chairs, test A/V, lay out materials, and get settled.
Request Supplies 2 Weeks Out
If you need beverages, coffee service, or printing from us, submit your request at least 2 weeks before your event so everything is ready when you arrive.
Rules & Terms
Host Responsibilities
- A representative from your team must be present to greet attendees and guide them to the Event Center. The GN team cannot provide this service.
- Each attendee must sign an Attendee Release Agreement at the start of the event. Originals or copies must be provided to Piranha.
- You and your guests are expected to conduct yourselves professionally at all times.
Legal
- Any disputes are governed by the laws of Arizona and resolved through binding arbitration in Arizona.
- All organizers assume full liability for their safety and the safety of their attendees.
